The Science System and How Blue byte let a chance go by.

Straight up, I like the whole concept of the science system and I think it adds another new dimension to the game. Adding anything new to the island that has to make you rethink your whole strategy as far as the workings of your economy can only be an asset. Making you think is the real basis of what makes the game work...BUT and what a real but this is, what a chance you had BB to kill 2 birds with one stone that you let slip by.

Level 50's are over it and are sick of waiting for legitimate new content. The "fairy tale" looks like dying before you even get it of the ground because of your lack of foresight..how easy it would of been to do this:

    level 51..new adventure..reward bookbinder
    level 52..new adventure..reward simple papermill
level 53..you know where I am going with this, you could of incorporated the new science system and opened up the game and made it new and fresh again for level 50's and let the lower levels know that it doesn't all end at level 50.

Just the rambling thoughts of a player fast reaching the status of "jaded"

So the science system should have been the sole preserve of those who have reached level 50?

Yes, please. It's useless for the lower level players. No way we poor people have the resources or building licences left to add the science buildings and upgrade them. And even if we would, then the contribution to our game is way too low, since the science system has no link at all with all other quests that are to be done until at least level 36.

Fully agree. I was stupid enough - as a level 28 player - to build the buildings.
Jipiyayeeho! Around this time, my first manuscript is finishing. That was really worth 3 building licences....NOT!

I think you have missed my point completely.

Why? I'm agreeing that it should have been the sole preserve of those who reached level 50.
That is at the current state of the science system, which is:
    1) non-integrated with any other quests for low level players
    2) requiring building licences that we don't have, because the existing quests without science system are already requiring you to consume all licences.
10% bigger copper mines? At what cost; 2 farms and 1 mill perhaps? Doesn't sound like a smart deal to me.
