If for some reason moving the information window wouldn't be practical, what I'm hearing is that players don't mind that it's there - it's only that you can't review your population and troops any other way.

How about adding that information to the economic summary - including what the current rate of incoming settlers is and what buffs might be active affecting that? Even perhaps troops currently queued? I would find having all that information in one area very useful and I think it would fit in with the other elements in the economic summary - just put it in it's own section.
Sorry, but I've slept since then...

If it's impractical to move that information window how about moving the pop and building section of the top bar over to the other side of the resource bar, surely there would be less of a issue for the player in that info window obscures the tools and coin display for a few seconds.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

Well it should be possible to find some kind of solution. I would rather chose not to have the pop up messages at all, than to have it as it is. It turns the messages into spam. Especially when you are trying to recruit in barracks and what to see what troops you already have,

    Thanks.
Why for the love of god this hasn't been included in the latest update since the Devs were already working around the info bar, it would be so easy to make yet we keep bragging about it for years...
When will this excessive message annoyance finally stop ?

Change postion of in game notification

I simply would suggest a small change, the make the notification under the resource bar instead of cover it, i mean get it a little away from top, something like what I describe with images :

    From this :

    To this:

    Why?
Simply its just annoying that sometimes i need to wait the notification to disappear to see how many troops i have, free settlers and so on, if you know what I mean, when you put cursor over the population number, you can see the troops that you have.

That's annoying that we don't have another way, and simply its annoying friend buff my buildings, or I collect things in land, and notification stacked, and i just waiting to all of this to finish so i can see troops.

xibor, doro and urd all have good suggestions, but this shouldn't be included in an update. its something that needs FIXING (now) not updating.

This and the stupid barracks system is really starting to annoy me, which is ridic because its just a game and i'm here to have fun! I would just like to say as an IT manager if any of the BB programming team have a job interview with me they will be laughed out of the building.
ofc i talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice

Why not just remove it all together? As long as it shows on news that's all that is needed.

I'd go along with that, if there was no other choice.

Well, sometimes its helpful to get notified, I think some notifications can be removed and keep it only in news like buffs alerts, troops training messages, and keep some like deposit depleted and emails.

And actually it will be helpful if we get new notification that a player is whisper, a lot of times I see whispers after a few minutes or even hour or 2, and 95% of times my speakers is muted.
