    Level Group: 40 - 50

Competition Category: 2) most balloons in 1 day

I have donated 747,175 ballons in total in the 24hrs starting 13:39 on 22 July

Thanks to everyone in G4 and to to all my guild mates for the support and resources that allowed me to focus on balloons throughout the three weeks.
Thanks particularly to those of you who helped me through the difficult times when my anger at the way BB had misled us and ignored us needed to be overcome.
In my humble opinion this was a decent event. It could have been great if BB had just been a little more open and honest... and superb if they had given us a few tools to help.
We did not achieve 150% but I have no doubt that it was an achievable target - part of the challenge was to encourage more players to actively participate. We did not sufficiently achieve that, not least because of the uncertainty and feeling of betrayal when BB changed the goal posts after 100%.

All these balloons were made after my post on the 19July.

    Level 36

    313K/12 hr production rate.

I'm pretty sure someone already has better, but wanted to show my contribution, and what i thought was as good as it could get, got a lot bigger.

What a fun end to the event

Maybe we should do something similar in the next event, only let's do it in the first week!

    CONGRATULATIONS
Well done to everyone that supported the event and those that won prizes.

As an avid fan of the G4 tab during this time I would like to say a big thank you to the many that helped to organise fair trades to keep the balloons coming. A special big thanks to Gavona for all of his help and strategy tips etc.
As I have already donated a Starter Pack Voucher code to the most balloons donated in a day in the level 40 - 50 category, I would like to offer another voucher pack as a prize for the person that made the biggest overall supporting contribution. It goes to Gavona - well done.

Smile Thank you to everyone who engaged in the competition

Thank you Fishslice for your kind words and award.
Thank you to MOD_Fhearghus, Peanut1944, Daizey, Seamus1 for organising this competition. I know it will have added significantly to the pressures whilst you continued to make balloons as fast as you could
Thank you to everyone who encouraged and promoted the event throughout the three weeks. Including those who gave me resources and chocolate rabbits to convert, and those who helped me when I was feeling annoyed with BB. That includes Lulu from Sandycove, everyone on G4 and especially everyone in Fre guild.
Thank you to BB for giving us the opportunity of a fresh challenge. It was better than EotW even though far from perfect.

It is interesting to see that level 27 to 39 could almost match the level 40 to 50s in the "biggest water-production unbuffed"category. Any one who says this was competition for level 50s was plainly wrong.

    It was interesting:
to see how much we could achieve by working together, within our guilds and in G4 etc.
to recognise the barrier to success caused by BB's lack of helpfulness and poor communication.
to see much more difficult the job of convincing others to participate was in the face of "active pessimism" by a few.
to see the different motivations - from those who wanted personal gain in the form of some in-game currency to those who wanted to take the challenge for its own sake (or set them selves individual challenges) and those who wanted to foster co-operation across the server.
