I find myself wondering if things are not quite as quite the described. At the simplest coding level we have two types of deposits, mines and quarries. With Stone, Marble and Iron we have one more of the deposit type than what is normally available. With mines we have depleted and torn down mines. We know from test that a empty deposit may still yield resources (fields). When you introduce change you also introduce the problem of, is somebody having a run of bad luck or are they experiencing a bug. It is then with little wonder if one wants what it says on the box that you would be better off looking at a different box.
