I can assure you that the posts are there. The draw is done via Random.org - sometimes RNG can produce some rare streaks.

The way the draw is done is detailed after each winner is drawn, as well as the original post in this thread. It's completely down to pure RNG, which does mean that there could be winning streaks from the same player. I'm sorry you find the reasoning behind the discontinuing of the images unacceptable, but we had no choice when it came to saving server storage. But I can assure you that nothing else has changed about the contest itself - especially that of how the winner is drawn.
