To be honest, I don't think that they are expensive. I think if you want almost a year's worth of premium gameplay, then 20k gems is probably not unreasonable - it's in line with the cost of an endless copper mine and a gem pit.Originally Posted by Driller7
If you buy 48k gems on a 100% sale the 20k gem premium comes down to 3.5 euro/month. Cheap if you ask me...
Pricey enough to make it actually premium and make people think before buying, but cheap enough for those who want to dabble on occasion.
Seems about right to me.
It would help if we knew for sure what percentage of extra XP and loot we get, its only says 25% on the test server even though it says 50% in the news

I can assure you it will appear on the live version as the same percentage mentioned in the Dev Diary (50%), as per our current plan. If this number were to changed, I would immediately edit the Dev Diary and let everyone know.

That price is similar to a WoW subscription. No way does TSO warrant that kind of price.
