[OPEN] Cannot login: "Server zone crashed"

You get the message "Server Zone crashed - An error was detected on this zone. Please try again." when you try and login.

Possible cause:
Either a corrupt cache/browser issue, or Moving certain special "gem" buildings like Watermills and Silos

Workaround:

1. Try to clear your cache in your browser
2. Try an alternative browser
3. Wait until 2AM (BST) when a script runs to help clear this issue
4. Contact Support and explain the situation

Prevention:
Try to refresh before you place or move special gem buildings/decorations

No idea what caused it, but I've got the error detected message as well.

Would be nice if the developers could actually fis the problem. Last time I had it it did get solved with the 2 a.m. patch, but it still is hugely annoying. I was away yesterday, and just happily rebuilding and adventuring a bit on a nice sunday afternoon. And what really annoys me: I was about to do a lootspot, but now 2 people have to wait for me until I can finally do it tomorrowmorning + I cant buff a friend this evening

The problem is there for months and months. Any chance of a real solution? Maybe try to recruit some decent developers on the gamescom.

so this bug has hit 11 people since the beginning of August? It strikes me that it is becoming more and more frequent. Should it continue in this manner, I'm guessing more and more people will become disillusioned with this game and quit.

It's time BB sorted this out once and for all and got to the root of the issue rather than adding more content (ie collectibles) which will more than likely cloak the problem even further...

I just got hit by this bug after starting to move a silo, which i got from trading, that was being upgraded to level 3

Another known cause:
Sending the BHG to an adventure map. Doesn't seem to trigger with Grim, Stronghelmet, Vet, Normal or Klotz, just the bog-standard BHG bought from the shop.

Script didnt work. Contacted support. Are they actually able to help/ fix this manually?

Today is a great day for mankind. I got my first reply from support after a full year of total silence.
I could log in this morning and support said my zone was fine when they checked it. I tried to log in after the nighttime script supposed to have run but then i had no luck. So either the script runs much later than announced or the bug can magically dissapear.
Anyway after much rebuilding and right after a refresh i placed another silo. Guess what? Instant server zone crashed again.
Still have some silos to place.. Not amused.

• In what sector did you place the Silo?
• Was the spot empty, or was there a depleted well there?
• Did you move or remove something else to make room?
• Can you think of other things both Silo placements had in common?

Oh and while the script starts running at 2 am BST, It could very well be that it takes a couple of hours before it finishes.

I placed both silos that resulted in the bug in sector 3. Before that i have placed, removed and moved several silos in sectors 8 and 9 without any ill effects.
Spot wasnt empty there was a depleted medium wheatfield there in both cases. I will not place any more on depleted stuff thats for sure.
I did not move or remove anything after the refresh but there was 1 medium wheatfield being constructed in sector 5. I might have removed 1 depleted gold mine in s9 few hours before.
Cant think of anything else but both cases were pretty much identical.
Anyway no answer from support so another day down the drain. Should i play from another browser?
Should i start a new ticket for every time or is it enough just to send a new reply under the same ticket?
