I agree and have thought the same thing before (though for 2 players, whisper works just as well). For 3 player adventures however, this would be very useful.
Yeah you're right about the 2 player, so perhaps just for 3 player and if in time we get 4 player ones.
Might also be helpful if it 'held' it's history, i.e. if you and I were doing an adventure together and I killed some stuff, went back to reinforcements and you were offline, when you came back you could see my messages and vice versa.
