    [Feedback] Guild Management Feedback

Please feel free to leave your feedback and questions here!

    Some questions answered:

    WAYS TO CHANGE GUILD LEADER

1.) The guild leader themselves can choose someone manually to succeed them.
2.) After a certain period of inactivity, the leadership is passed on to the person of the next rank/priority in the guild. This period is 15 days. When it is passed over, the next person will get an email which they must accept leadership in within a short window (a few days). They then have around a week to build a guild hall. If no-one accepts, it will continue through the entire succession and go back to the guild leader (rank 1).

    ADVENTURE COOPERATION

Yes, it is just a note in the member profile. If you click a member's profile, you can see their adventures running and if you can participate in it.

    Best,

What does the activity yes/no mean in the new guild member list?

Is it log in past 24h, 2d, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month or what?

"Active" for Guild Quests has historically been 'within 48 hours', course I don't know if this has changed with the update but it seems a reasonable time frame.

    Edit: Just saw Hairy's response:

and now I'm not so certain what it intends to show. :/ It's also possible it means the same time needed to pause an Island (a Settler's Day) which could be anywhere from 24 hours to just under 48...

    Clarity please.

It's horribly bugged. The only thing people really wanted was a list of who had completed their guild quests, and this doesn't seem to work!

For our guild, it did work until we completed the guild quest, now it's just a random list. I've heard reports from other people that theirs didn't work even while the guild quest was in completion. Maybe it's just needs a couple of days to settle, dunno, but something isn't right.

Not sure what the purpose of the adventure co-operation thing is. Any suggestions on how it could be useful?

And, as durin asked, when is someone counted as "inactive"?

    Thanks for the answers Alpaca

I was not expecting the "adventure cooperation" to be this lousy. Just a small line which you can only find while scrolling through the member-profiles.... that is so useless. How do the developers think this is a player-friendly addition? Sure the info is there, but it's hidden in the player-profiles. It would be usefull if there would be an adventure-window in the guild-options where you get a quick and easy overview of ongoing adventures, and people could add a message "ready to finish in x-hours" or "cant finish alone, please help!".

There is just no idea at all behind this addition, it doesn't look like the developers understood what this should do.

a date on the members list would be useful to indicate when they where last logged in
also why do non active guild members show they have a GQ open
also why do some active members don't have a quest when they have been in guild for a long time

    Hi!
Can someone please tell me how long is the offline time period before a guild member is considered INACTIVE?
I ask this in regards to the new features implemented within the Guilds (shield) on the Star Menu.
    Many thanks!

Really messy, every time I try to arrange the order, things jump about.
very funny to see an inactive player seems to have done the GQ!
    We love our new CM.

    Newfoundland: 20th November 2011 to 25th November 2014. RIP
It was good while it lasted.

13 of us had to do gq but 14 has been noted as "completed" and one who did gq was not one of them.

Assuming the Guild overview is updating correctly "Active" appears to mean "As long as it takes your Island to pause". (A player who was on the day before yesterday showed as Active yesterday and Inactive today.) So, a Settler's Day. This is... really not terribly useful at all. Especially if one is trying to sort players who may be away for a few days from those who may have left the game entirely.

It's been said that buffing a still active Island before it pauses will convince the overview that a person is still about even if they're not so it will continue to show "Yes" under 'Active', if anyone has tried it would handy to know. Buffing an already paused Island doesn't affect it and "No" remains "No".

The Adventure Cooperation Request is indeed also quite silly. As fond as I am of my guildies the thought of checking each individual profile multiple times a day when the old standard of simply talking to each other or sending a quick mail is so very very much simpler is utterly @.@-making. An overview or extra column on the main page of member info would have been lovely but this? Not so much.

All the sorting options in the top bar are quite nice and it is absolutely grand that leaders can now take a break or step down entirely but much of this, for all the time it took in coming, seems rather poorly thought out.
