Click on the 3 stripes icon in the topright of the browser window and choose "History"
Then click on the "Clear browsing data..." button in the "History" section.
Make sure you choose "the beginning of time" and the checkboxes for "Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data" and "Empty the cache" are ticked
You then get this confirmation screen where you can decide what to keep and what needs to go. Keep in mind that once you hit the "Clear browsing data" button there is no turning back.
The screenshots were taken from Chrome 28.0.1500.95 m, so they might differ a bit in other versions of Chrome

You then get this confirmation screen where you can decide what to keep and what needs to go.
Make sure you choose "Everything" and the checkboxes for "Cookies" and "Cache" are ticked.
Keep in mind that once you hit the "Clear Now" button there is no turning back.

Then click on the "Delete" button in the "Browsing history" section

Make sure that the checkboxes "Temporary Internet files" and "Cookies" are ticked. Also if you have added "The Settlers Online" to your favorites, make sure that the checkbox "Preserve Favorites website data" is not ticked.
Keep in mind that once you hit the "Delete" button there is no turning back.

Make sure that the checkboxes "Empty the cache" and "Remove all cookies" are ticked.
Keep in mind that once you hit the "Reset" button there is no turning back.
