Today we would like to provide you with information about the Chinese version of The Settlers Online. The existence of the Chinese version raised questions about the further development of the game.
The version in China differs from your local TSO version in order to fit the different needs of this particular audience.
Our colleagues in China adapt TSO for Chinese players. Some features you know might be modified, some features will be developed for the Chinese players only, but also some features of your TSO might not be deployed in China.
At the end of the day, features included in China won't necessarily be part of your TSO version.
The Chinese version is not a test instance for upcoming features of your TSO version.
Although there is a Chinese version, nothing changes for you:
New content for your game version is pre-announced by the Community Managers.
In addition, you're always invited to participate in the public tests on www.tsotesting.com.
You are also invited to provide our Game Design with feedback on this server which will be taken into consideration for the final version.
Afterwards, new features go live.
Hence, you will stay informed about new stuff, you can test upcoming features in advance and you are invited to share your feedback which is much appreciated by our Game Design.
