I think what baffles me is that they feel Gems Gifting = bad because of 'trade scams' because gems can't be traded people are scamming saying they'll gift people.

Okay. With the logic of removing gems gifting you don't want people scamming.

Moving on. The Premium tokens they don't want it to be tradable. Okay. BUT they're still 'giftable' (I tested on test server, gem gifting removed. premium trading removes, but premium is giftable still).

So why make premimum giftable if its going to run into the same problem as gems gifting??

What's the point of removing premium tokens from being tradeable when people can still gift it And conduct 'bartering still with this. And even worst it can be scammed as well.

Yeah, acute BB logic:
Gem Gifting = too many scam tickets for support = feature removed.
Premium Trading = balancing and technical issues = remove from trading and make them gift-able instead so scammers can scam with them instead.

Probably just a smoke-screen move so they can also remove premium gifting with the same excuse a couple weeks after.

While it's a shame anything has to be removed it's good to see pretty much *everything* problematic going instead of just a seemingly random few things. Be lovely to get them all back again in a form that isn't destined to cause trouble.
