[Guide] Collection System and Collectibles

Hey there... id like to khnow how many times a day does the items apear on the map?

That information is already in the guide:

Each icon you find and click randomly gives 1 or a few of the item.

Old Collectibles disappear from Home Islands every 8 to 10 hours when a new set arrives, the timing can vary with each reset and from player to player.

I wonder how limited the list is of locations for an item to appear in is.. would it be possible to make a map showing where items have been found previously and so be likely to appear in again? I'm having great difficulty spotting banners and scarecrows and this might be a help, esp if it was broken down by sector.

Come to think of it it would be handy if the quest itself showed how many and what sectors they are in.. would save time and make searches more focused.

Excellent guide, thanks! I'm just wondering one thing: Can collectables other then cauldrons appear on adventures? Or can I safely assume that if there is no collection quest there is nothing to collect? Would be nice to clearify that in the guide.

Fantastic! this map helped so much.. got 13/14 with little fuss.. spotted 4 or 5 dots either a lil off or just close to another position but still. I divided up the map into sectors and numbered the locations to make searching easier..

Only Cauldrons are on Adventures, the others all stay safely at home. The Collection Quest should pop up as soon as any Cauldrons do the first time you visit an Adventure so aye, no Quest, no Cauldrons, no* anything else*. Cheers for the suggestion, it's updated now.

And my thanks to everyone who's spoken kindly of the [Guide], I'm very glad it's been useful. Any other suggestions or corrections of errors are more than welcome.

This map is a great start, just keep in mind it doesn't show all the possible places for Collectibles, I suspect one would need an Island entirely free of buildings, trees, and clouds (and rocks) to map them all accurately. It may yet be a bit before such a thing comes to be.
