    Gaining settlers?

    This is a strange issue.

Since before the weekend I've gained 5 settlers for no apparent reason. I have the same amount of buildings, fields, wells and so on. I still have the same number of free licenses but I have 5 more settlers than I did a week ago.

First it was 3 extra for a few days, then suddenly I had 5 extra yesterday.

The only thing I know of that only takes settlers and no license are wells but I have the exact same amount of wells as I did a week ago, I just replace them as they run out, with an exception of a normal well I had to build for a quest that's ran out and not been replaced since then.

I haven't been able to figure out where these 5 settlers are coming from, that's why I'm posting this as a bug.

Wells are not the only buildings that use a Settler but not a Building License.

There are several buildings available in the Merchant that also do not use a Building License.
For example: The Noble Residence Deed, Deerstalker, Watermill, Silo, Tavern, etc.

Maybe you bought some buildings from the Merchant and removed other buildings?

No, I haven't added or removed any building except for one well and that's accounted for. The only thing I've done during this time is replace wells, fields and mines that has run out.

Two days ago I noticed my unused building licences had dropped from 2 down to one. My first thought was that in a moment's inattention that instead of building a well I had built a different building. A check of the map and eco showed no unexpected buildings. Yesterday my licence count was back up to 2.

Same with me. I had initially 175 working settlers at the beginning of last week. No changes in my buildings recently. And I was down to 166 at first and now I'm at 145 working settlers.

And today I got yet another settler so now I'm up to 6 more than I had a week ago.

Ok. So, this was supposedly fixed. After the claimed bugfix everything went back to where they should be.

However, now it's started doing the same again. So far I've gained 3 free settlers even though I haven't added or removed any buildings. Only thing I do is replace wells that run dry.
