I have not been able to log in yesterday or today. I am unable to keep trying when the login queue is over 1 hour long so i pop in and out to try but so far no luck. And i was due to collect gems, today as the 7 day bonus!

Not for me it isn't and hasn't done for the last couple of days since the maintenance was completed! This post was meant as a reply to Hairy!

Seems to be working now after clearing browser and flash caches (ctrl-shift-del in dragon/chrome, ctrl-f5 in moz)

i just got a blue screen after first load screen
Me too. Seems the same as what happened several days ago. Looks like more resources lost again. :-(
I spent 3.5 hours trying to log in. It seems as though some work still needs doing. Maybe get another hamster to power the server.
it's just gone down again I take it...
Refreshed in Sandycove and locked on blue screen
