    No graphics loading

A fellow guildie has been unable to log in for days:

"i tried everything i could, clearing cashes, temporary internet files, browsing historys,....installing new drivers and flash players .....but nothing works, so i dont know what to do anymore, so if you could forward this screenshot and ask other people or mods or devs, whoever knows how to fix this."

Can anyone assist with this at all?

It sounds like they have done all the usual steps for trying to rectify the problem.
The thumbnail basically shows that the homepage load has not picked up all the files (missing images and style sheets etc) which suggests a cache, lag or connection issue.

If they are feeling adventurous they could try a different browser (which would use a different cache and therefore be requesting the files itself.

I would suggest comodo dragon as a faster replacement of chrome or comodo ice dragon as a faster replacement of firefox:
    Comodo Dragon (Chrome)
    Comodo Ice Dragon (Mozilla Firefox)
Just do not use Comodo's DNS when setting up the browser (you can turn that on later if you want)

If the links do not get approved, just tap 'comodo dragon' into google or visit comodo dot com directly.

    Best of luck anyway

Tripi, your solution worked for him, hes back in the game again, many thanks for the help everyone

However, TSO no longer works on his installed chrome or IE, so that will be an issue for others in the future i fear...

Replacing something which has broke in the long run does you no good if you don't know why it broke in the first place. I suggest at least a look see at your browsers support forums to see if it's an issue to which a resolution has been found.

    solution found

further to this, my guildie has found the solution to his problem.

Whilst Tripi's solution allowed my mate to still play TSO, he was used to using chrome and wanted to continue doing so. The answer to his problem was:

"go in network config window, properties, click on internet protocol v4 (ipv4) and uncheck get dns server automaticaly and replace it with some other"

He is now able to use chrome playing TSO..

As a subnote, the IP address that hed been automatically assigned was apparently linked to a foreign defense (DoD) address, among other sites - scary stuff
