I have to agree, while it is the norm to clear cache, delete history etc etc this has been nothing to do with the client side guys, it is that obvious !
I guess mine will never appear now as out of frustration I have removed the quest just to see if it re-appears

I had no problems with golems till today. Till the wonderful "bug fix" that has been done last night. So now, even more people don't have the golems. Please fix the thing, it's so frustrating for us.

Didn't get golem L4. Have quest but no golem to kill!!
As mentioned on the additional maintenance post, the golem fix needed to be deployed in two steps for the types of users affected.
Golem issues should not continue after tomorrow's usual maintenance period.The final fix for the Golem re-spawn issue will be implemented during the maintenance that will take place on the 24th of October.

the additional maintenance post says normal maintenance will introduce the FINAL fix. Which suggests the extra maintenance should already bring a temporary fix.
It's just not clear what the extra maintenance should do. They could have been a bit more clear, and just stated what the 1st part was supposed to do. Was it supposed to bring back golems or not? Or after the suggested log out, wait half an hour, log in-method, explained by BB_Ravel? It's all a lot of guessing and hocus pocus.
The info is just not there Alpaca. What types of users? Smart ones and dumb ones? Skinny and fat users? It's not mentioned at all in the additonal maintenance post.
Same issue for my daughter too. I got the second Golem, but her island did not. Weird.

Well my golem has finally appeared.
Also, not sure if this was bug related or not, pumpkins have also appeared as collectables on my island for the first time.
I've had three groups/points of pumpkins in my first login in addition to a nice big golem.
