gem costs for missing advent calendar days are 20 gems for normal days, 50 gems for special weekly days (testserver)

question about the new christmas update: the 2 chests and the 3-day-premium. how much does this cost? can we get the items with presents or with gems?

This looks pretty cool but why is it being released on the 12th like everything else. It should have been live on the first as that's the whole point of an advent calendar :S Guess they want to make it difficult to get the tower for people who aren't able to log in on xmas day?

Whilst it takes the form of an Christmas Advent calendar its not one specific in that sense. It just runs the length of the event with windows to open each day which gives you pressies ( look on it as a daily log in bonus )

Ha ha ha, love your explanation. But maybe the real reason is that they didn't make it in time? Possibly because they were bug hunting? (One can hope, right?)

They should just let us open the first 12 on the first day then run it like an advent cal properly. Then it would be great

Currently the two chests are 95 gems each and the three day Premium is 450 gems.

There's a buff called "Magic(al) (two names, same item) Ink in the new Xmas Prov 2 that makes Map Frags. On the test server it used Simple Paper, Intermediate Paper, and Nibs.

The Russian servers don't start until the 19th, that wouldn't leave very many doors for them. It seems pretty clear calling it an "Advent" calendar was another idea that was meant to be cute and clever but didn't work out so well. ('cause it's misleading.) Taken as an "Event Calendar" it works just fine but BB really do need to put a little more thought and effort into not confusing people to bits.
