I was wondering if anyone has a solution to a bug where a deposit is missing for a pinewood forester?
I'm looking at building the forester as below (circled in red) but it always says deposit missing. This is the same when I stop surrounding foresters but if I place a pinewood cutter in the same spot it has a usable deposit.
That happens when a pinewoodspot is right in front of the cutter or forester.
Build it somewhere else and build a sawmill there.
build it there, ones build he will find the deposit. I have my only hunter on a meat deposite similar
I have the same issue. Nothing worked.
When Foresters say "Deposit Missing" they most often mean "Deposit Full", when a Cutter cuts a tree the Foresters will find something to do.
The game's vocabulary is just limited in pop-up templates, see "Your storage is full, to add more Settlers upgrade your storehouses." which is entirely incorrect. Settlers live in Residences, not Storehouses (upgrading the Mayor doesn't make room for them either.) but it's the standard text for "You have too much 'whatever'."
Thanks all, I placed it as Nighteye suggested and it does now indeed work after being "N/A" for a few minutes. Issue seems to be that it does not show the path to any of the pinewood deposits it is using. I presume this is because I have built on the deposit and the building graphic overlays it. Timing is 2:43 though so not complaining
