Event Quest Chain 3

Level 23+

Note: There is a 24 hour (approx) delay between completing the second chain and the arrival of the third.

The Evildoer

I found the evildoer who stole my Reindeers! He's hiding on an Island. I guess we need to set sail and pay him a visit!

Battle Preparations

Level 23+

For the next task you need to be Level 26. Please come back when you've gained enough experience.

Task: Reach level 26.

Nice, now you have enough experience to be ready for the next task.

Reward: 20 Presents

Note: It seems strange there is nothing between the previous quest chain which opens and can be completed at level 23 and this next one to "Do an Epic Adventure". Epic Adventures can't be started until level 42 so there may very well be easier tasks for lower levels that were just difficult to trigger on the test server. If anyone finds they have different tasks or can fill in some blanks please post.

The Hiding Place

Note: The tasks vary by level. Lower: 26 - 35 Midrange: 36 - 43 High: 44 - 50. Each player gets just the one set suited to their current level.

Unfortunately, the guy who stole my reindeers has bribed the rulers of the island to protect him! It seems we'll need to take an Army with us if we're going to get them back!

Task:

Lower: Complete 1 Resource Adventure.

Midrange: Complete 1 Experience Adventure.

High: Complete 1 Epic Adventure.

So we've captured the evildoer! Let's see what he has to say.

Reward: 20 Presents

Note:

• Resource Adventures: Bandit Nest, Island of the Pirates, Outlaws, Victor the Vicious, Wild Mary
  (Island of the Pirates is the easiest of these but still takes work and can be very challenging at 26. Remember, the event runs until 9th January so there is a lot of time yet.)
  
  
• Experience Adventures: Dark Priests, Gunpowder, Horseback, Nords (the first one,) Sons of the Veld, Stealing from the Rich, Surprise Attack, Traitors, and Witch of the Swamp.
  (Dark Priests, Horseback and Witch of the Swamp are the easier ones.)
  
  
• Epic Adventures: Black Knights, Dark Brotherhood, Roaring Bull and Secluded Experiments.
  (Black Knights and Roaring Bull are the easier.)

Recovering

I should have known! The evildoer was hired by the Croaker! I don't know where he's hiding right now, but I think we need to build ourselves back up, and get ready for a showdown.

Task:

Lower: Own 100 Recruits.

Midrange: Own 250 Recruits.

High: Own 500 Recruits.

Good work, the troops are ready!

Daily Event Quests

Like regular Daily quests daily event quests are available from level 10 on, arrive once a day and vary according to level. The following is a work in progress and when anyone finds one not yet listed (there are definitely some missing) please feel free to post it. Thanks.

  Pay 50 Flour from your storage.
• Colored Fish
  Pay 80 Fish from your storage.
• Cozy Christmas Eve
  Pay 50 Pinewood from your storage.
• A Huge Christmas Tree
  Pay 50 Hardwood Planks from your storage.
• A New Shelter
  Pay 100 Stone from your storage.
• Saving of Christmas Eve
  Buff at least 5 of your friend's buildings.
• Santa's Little Helper
  Produce enough Tool Belts to obtain 150 Tools.
  Fill the Mayor's House with the 150 tools you just made!
• Snowflake Tea
  Pay 100 Water from your storage.
• Snowy Pretzel
  Pay 50 Water from your storage.
  Pay 50 Flour from your storage.
• Tall Tree
  Pay 100 Hardwood Planks from your storage.
• Warm Brew
  Buy at least 100 Brew from other players.

Higher levels:

• Christmas Postcard
  Buff at least 5 of your friend's buildings using Aunt Irma's Gift Baskets.
• Heavy Gifts
  Pay 250 Horses from your storage.
• Help for Mother Holle
  Pay 50 Sausages from your storage.
• Important Wood
  Produce enough Used Longbows to obtain 10 Longbows.
• Late Dinner
  Pay 100 Sausages from your storage.
• Merry Maintenance
  Pay 150 Tools from your storage.
• The Naughty and the Nice
  Pay 250 Coal from your storage.
• New Mantlepiece
  Produce enough Lonely Marble Blocks to obtain 150 Marble.

Note: Lonely Marble Block, Tool Belt and Used Longbows are all produced in the Provisions House -> Resources tab.

Something is not clear to me about Event quest chains... There will be only 3 chains during Christmas event or...?

As far as we could gather there were 3 quest chains and the 3rd chain doesn't pop up right after the 2nd. Most likely you'll just have to wait a few days or so before it activates, or maybe it's linked to the number of days we are in the event. I guess we'll see afterwards

How fast did you find presents on short search, it's been 3 days with 2 explorers that I haven't find a single present on those searches?

Using 4 explorer since event start I got presents on about 50% of searches (regardless of search duration)

OK, thanks for the info, one of my explorers is on medium search and other is on short, it's been 4 days, which means at least 6 searches between them and 0% present findings, I'll give one more day and then I'm posting possible bug. It's not that much that I don't get presents, it's the fact that I can't fulfill my quest.
