What server and how to find out?

Would like to know what area I am in as cant find any info, think im on Northside but not too sure.
Also does it matter where you are in the world to wh you have as gaming friends/neighbors?

You are on Northisle. On the forum it says to under your name on your posts.
In game, you can tell by holding your mouse over the tab in the browser for the game, and it will tell you in the text there.

mousing over the tab will tell you what realm your in and yes it does, im on sandycove my sister started on northisle and we can not add each other

If anyone logging in via Steam has found a way in the Steam interface to check which server you landed on, if there is any way, it would really be helpful to Steam players and non-Steamies alike if you could post. Currently asking in chat or checking the forum are the two well known options.
