Return to the Bandit's nest Guide 250 Gen and Cannons

    Hi all..

They killed my chat.. but good thing i can still post guides :-)

I made a small guide with 1 block to save you about 70 recruits..
It is a guide for when you have cannons and a 250 general.
If you wanne recalculate it because you have different general or army.... you might use the SOTV in the combat simulator. It gives you the troops you need for this island. Use: http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/d...fsimulator/en/

For the 270 General version with cannons go: http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...796#post248796

Now.. first.. the way to walk..:

    Use this map:

Then use these troops in the island:

    C1: 80 thug 20 guarddog 80 rangers
    61R 150C 1E 38K (250) [Loss: max 61 Rec and 20 Cav]

    C2: 40 guarddog 80 roughneck 80 rangers
    wave 1: 48R
    wave 2: 62R 120C 1E 67K [Loss: max 110 Rec]

    C3: 80 thug 80 ranger
    56R 2E 163C 29A (250) [Loss: max 56 Rec]

This one you can do with 2x a block!!
    C5: 50 guarddog 100 roughneck 50 rangers
wave 1: 59R (block: walk on 3rd red dot from camp)
wave 2: 78R 79C 1E 92K (block: walk when general dissapears in the camp)
    [Loss: max 137 Rec]

    How to block:

Or lose some recruits and remove the C4 first with :
    C4: 77 Recruit, 173 Cannoneer [losses about 77R]

    C6: 1 metaltooth 50 guarddog 60 roughneck 80 rangers
    wave 1: 50 cav
    wave 2: 104C 34S 1E 111K
[Loss: max 50 Cav, 34 Sold]

    C7: 1 chuck 100 thug 1 skunk
    32S 1E 116A 101K [Loss: max 32 Sold]

Done.. and can be done in about +- 20 minutes.. (exluding travel time..) :-)

    Take with you (if you use the blocking in C4): 366 R, 200 C, 2 E, 116 A, 72 S, 111 K (or 173 K when you don't block).
    Lose about: 366 R (or +77 without block), 70 C, 66 S.

Everything's just seems so much easier with a 2050 general.

Guide seems good, I might try it out, but what I'm really interrested in is a loot overview.

    thx for the extra info!

Best thing is/. u can win up to 2 x 2 Codex's. Depending on your productivity of you bookbinder that can be a lot.

That in combination with the chance on winning exo wood or granit makes if feel even more like an upgraded version of WOTS :-P

I looked at Thrade map but yours was more appealing with fewer recruit and cav losses though it did have soldier losses so this one was preferable to me.

I'd like to suggest a few corrections though and improvements. You've got c4 and c5 the wrong way round in the text, it's c4 you take out with the 173k 77r not c5. I chose not to risk the blocks personally as I could live with the extra 77r loss.

You've got the cav losses listed as 40 but it's actually 70, 20 from the dogs in camp c1 and 50 from wave 1 on camp c6.

On troops to bring you should mention the required for non-block (so 173k not 104k and the extra 77r).

You should list the amount of required suicide generals, block (5), non-block (3).

Overall though this is a very good map that I'll be using a lot as the non-block version, thank you

thx for feedback.. ill look in to it!

    * Update 1: corrected the C4/5 thing!
    * 2: Updated use of troops and added all losses
    * 3: If you use the blocks.. u will need 3 generals extra for that. Otherwise use 3 generals
