Retired settler, may 2012 - oktober 2017
Can someone from BB confirm the actual role of this person?
Welcome BB_Namib
What do you do? what can I contact you about? As a game master does that mean any problems with the game I private message you and you will solve it or advise?
I must admit BB_Ravel was always good at replying even if he did not know the right thing to say but the last BB (BB_alpaca I think?) replied to nothing and if I am honest didn't seem to do nothing.
Summary - Can you give a brief run down of what you are here for please.
Thanks
Yes welcome BB_Namib and best wishes to you for 2014.
Just to echo what PChamps said it would be great to also get some feedback on our feedback that we leave on the feedback threads...
I'm sure you will have a busy few weeks but it would be great to see an active 2-way channel of information.
Also it would be great to see important items like the change log published today put on the home page as not everyone will have seen it yet and its very important as the shop closes with this maintenance but historically this has been left open for a week after the event closes so there will be a lot of unhappy people on Thursday.
Oh, and on the subject of change logs, a MOD in chat the other day suggested some loot drop rewards will be changing this week but this isn't explicitly stated in the change logs so can you please do a little digging and ascertain please?
Regards,
fish
Thank you guys for your warm welcome and feedback ^^
As stated in a previous thread I am now the official Game Master of The Settlers Online.
BB_Ravel will still be around as community manager. To make things easier, I will be doing exactly what BB_Ravel used to do (mainly handling chat moderation issues).
If there are any problems, the best way to get in contact with me is to submit a support ticket, marked FAO BB_Namib .
Cheers
BB_Namib
Welcome BB_Namib, I see your on `Sandycove' , don't be shy if your `new' those early levels can be a bit tricky, just remember `having a production of 0' is Settlers speak for having a positive productionWe have a good help crowd to give you a hand, Traders to sell you good quality stone for Granite and of course plenty of hugs in global. And don't believe the `yellow tongues' that we give them such a hard time, they have it so easy you'll find them most days taking in the rays and the waves on the beach south of Mayors house

Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned
Would like to thank you all for the warm welcome you offered BB_Namib.
You are not rid of me yet as I will continue to be part of the Community Team.
If you have problems with the game, you have to contact support as they are the ones dealing with technical issues.
Regarding the change log suggestion, I looked into it but, due to the fact that what we publish is a preliminary change log and the final version may differ, we prefer to not post it on the main page to avoid confusion among users.
Oh, congratulations and welcome.
Unfortunately, it appears we have the same ticketing bug that has plagued the French servers. Even though it appears the ticket has gone through, unless you then get an auto-reply in your email, it hasn't actually been logged.
Thanks for the info Nogbad2 - Ive just logged a support ticket due to a locked zone on an adv so I cant get back to it. Wrote a long ticket explaining the event and what I was doing in case it helps, got the response to say it had been sent from the ticket screen but no email auto response yet so it appears support tickets may just get ignored.
Damn, I shall have to retype.
Better get new gerbils for that wheel....
Update to my post above, I did get an auto email confirmation regarding the raised ticket, it just seemed to take longer than usual.
Yes, 1 of mine did come late, but the other appears to have been lost.
Really don't fancy typing that out again.
We love our new CM.

It was good while it lasted.
