I'd forgotten about a "Country Saying" waiting to be picked up in the Mayor's House. This messed the Book times up for me for 3 days. After picking up the collectible, the book times went back to normal. Thanks.

... is bugged, it has 2 days to finish a book.
time seems either random or running very very very slow...
Check your Mayor's House Collections tab. If you have a buff waiting, it messes with the book times.
OK I'm getting this as well now. No building upgrades going on but I have a manuscript in progress - every time I revisit my island the timer is going up. The Bookbinder is not buffed either.
I did notice a collectible needed to be collected from Mayors House but I have collected that and the problem still exists!
Maybe I should do another refresh, clear cache etc since collecting the collectible - will give that a go next.
Maybe I should also stop either making collectible buffs or books but seeing as I need both then not sure what the solution is here.
Oh wait, maybe we should just expect code that works or at least formal BB recognition of the problem and possible timeframe for a solution - nah that's like expecting a decent level of service.
Getting really annoyed with BB (yet again). Why is it that feedback from BB staff is limited to giving us updates on Dev Diary stuff that the developers wish to work / play on but not on anything of serious interest to long term players such as fixing the known issues with the game, delivering the stuff that was promised in previous dev diaries or even just giving an update on progress.
Whilst http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/f...-Verified-Bugs is a great source of information and many thanks to Fexno for putting the time in to providing this valuable resource area I have 2 questions.I know one thing for sure, I'm fed up with putting real life money into this game and will not be doing so in the future until BB Management allow our Community Manager to be more responsive in providing us with feedback rather than collecting ours, passing it on to the Devs and not being allowed to then provide us with updates and feedback about progress. Good luck to you BB_Alpaca for having the job from hell!
- Why oh why does BB not post anything in any this area that recognises these are BB recognised rather than just Fexno (as a forum moderator) recognised issues?
- The posts now lists 38 known issues but not one of them shows as closed / fixed / resolved. What assurances do we have that BB do actually recognise and are fixing them?
I've been having it for ages,
not anymore lately though. why?
well check collectables + claim any that are ready before I check time in bookbinder.
think the problem is with collectable making.
also noticed that pop up for collectable ready has a flawed link. when I click it, it will show buff still producing. wen I click the mayor/storage it shows claimable.
I run everything buffed other then mayor house. so try not to click book binder while a collectable is ready for pickup and you should be fine
I also got the issue, bookbinder doesn't finish his manuscript for 4 days straight, and my mayor's house is halfway though upgrading from lv4-5. Not much I can do, I am afraid.
At least the reset happens more than once a day, since the binder should only take 12 hours to make the script.
It seems to be connected to when I log out.

I also had a problem where it took 6 times longer than it should have to complete a manuscript.
Wild Samurai
I didn't know about this and my mayor's house is upgrading ); and I'm stuck with a manuscript for two days now... I agree about the collectible, I think there should be an option to be able to cancel the collectible
It's been almost three weeks!!
It is still doing same manuscript :/
at least you dont have to waste recources on making more of the things.
