    count down clock...

    in g1 on sandycove we had a little discusion
    with BB_Ravel
    and a lot of people sugested this

    should have a server clock posting count down to a maintenance in g-1
    they could change the colours as it got closer to maintenance
    say green = 3 hours out,
    yellow = 2 hours out
    and red for warnings in the last hour

    let me, them, us know if you agree

    thx,
    g-1 Sandycove...

    hard to see how they'd implement a count down given that the times are flexible and always pretty approximate. Although maybe they could add an onscreen icon in an out of the way corner when it's approaching, triggered in the same way as the pop up warning, but slightly earlier in the evening.

    If someone forgets about maintenance which is posted on the screen before you login and on the forum then that is there own fault I don't think the text should change colour.

    If they are going to change the colour of the text it should be for all them people who find it hard to read with the current colour scheme like already suggested multiple times on here.

    It will be perfect to have countdown timer which is connected to server clock, because time difference in other countries is hard to calculate what time left to server down.

    I think it would be a great idea as I'm guilty of not always reading the start up screen that tells of updates and changes and I almost never check the forum and Weisforce has a good idea on how it could be implemented

    Hate the idea of changing the text colour. It's hard enough to read at the best of times
