Based on my economy which uses base travel times of no more than 48s between storehouse and production building, I have this list to calculate the net benefit of placing buffs on my production lines.
Please note:
1)The amount of wealth gained through the buff is based on the net value of the buff's additional output, disregarding the initial making cost of the first item. In some cases, such as Gold Smelters or Coinages, the initial cost is so high that it's not even worth running the building unbuffed - at all!
2) The sort order in this post is ascending in terms of profit, not by alphabet.
3) The net benefits are now calculated under the assumption that you produce resources from scratch.
4) Your benefit is the difference between selling the resources consumed to produce the buff - and using it.
5) This list ignores the time cost of Production House, the cost of using Bunnies and any additional costs by purchasing the buffs.
6) Prices are based on current Northisle trade values.
I put up a Sheet on Google Docs that also includes current Northisle Prices as I have observed them: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...tS0Zlcmc#gid=1
Items not on this list are simply "out of scope" (Highlevel/Epic Buildings).
From the perspective of lv5 buildings:
The following items are not worth buffing with basket or badge under any circumstance:
Stone, Meat
The following items simply aren't worth buffing with basket or badge by yourself:
Sausage, Coal
The following items are not worth buffing with basket or badge if you have to buy the buffs from Trade Office:
Wheat, Pinewood, Hard Wood, Pine Plank
