    Moving Generals Faster

Would it be possible to have a speed buff dedicated to moving your generals quicker across ground? The time involved in moving generals from one place to another seems to be so long, surely we should be able to make something in prov house, or mayors house, that can increase the speed?

The problem is such a buff would have to last a set amount of time, the minimum would have to be 30 minutes. Once such a buff was applied to a general you would not be able to use him for block attacks.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

But that would be fare, would it not ?
You want tor general move faster? fine, but you can't use it for a block
Unless you have 2 "buffed" Gens at the same time, then it would be possible to time the block again
Every advantage can have it's disadvantage, seems logical to me.

Im hoping the General science will allow us to upgrade a general to move faster, and also the regular gens to travel faster to adventures

    I would LOVE this...

When you invite someone to do a lootspot on the Fairytale adventures, it can take over 20 minutes for their general just to walk to the camp they will attack! That's longer than it takes for the same general to sail across the ocean to reach the adventure island in the first place...

I haven't the faintest idea why a general that can walk faster would be unsuitable for blocks... Quite the opposite. Have you thought that through?

So this will never get implemented because it would make a perfect blocking general.

The problem raised here is adventure design, which can't really be fixed now, but hopefully BB will learn from the mistakes of the FT adventures in future.

Having said that, a "teleport" to location buff (either on an island or between islands) could be useful, easier to implement, and wouldn't make blocks more attractive.

What Dorotheus means is that it would mess up the timing in all the guides, and it's simply not possible to work out a new timing yourself...

I agree Gerontius, this would make a great general, either as the blocking general, or the attacking general. It would really shake up adventures, and all guides would have to be rewritten to accommodate this.

As a blocking general, it would mean you could place your generals closer together, rather than putting the blocking general closer to the enemy that other camps.

As an attacking general, it would 'run' through the red interception zones, resulting in far fewer failed blocks.

There is a similar option, which allows you to get your kills without 15 minutes of zone traveling + 20min of adventure travelling.

Us 50s call it "Combat buff", we get 3 every 2 days.

Not necessarily... why couldn't the buff just be to transport general?

Use on general to move the selected units instantly.
You'd apply it on the selection screen after clicking 'Send Army' to adventure. Simples.
