    Failing block Roaring Bull

I have found several guides for doing Roaring Bull (short version). When attacking first tower they us a block on 2 camps.
My first block with 60S, 121E and 13B failed although guides tell it should work

Are there more people experiencing problems with this blocks?

Ive done a couple today and no trouble with blocks
Ive only failed once since doing the short version.
May I suggest you move the garrison 1 flag back.

Maybe you attacked the camps and not the tower. Many guides require you to send all or at least one of the block to the tower, and let it intercept, if you send directly to the camp you might very well fail.
I use the guide from EvilJ you can find on cempire.org

That block can be VERY tight roughly 1% of the time. Run it through the combat sim and you'll see it can be a 4-round win / 6 round loss (same thing time-wise).
To be ok, you must send the second general as quickly as you can, and definitely while the marching music is still playing, then send the third general as the music is finishing - in other words just as the 2nd general becomes visible (assuming no lag). If you get it right, that block still works in that 1% scenario, but only by about 0.1 seconds.

I have gone months without an issue, then lost troops twice in 3 adventures. It's still cheaper to lose 1% of the time than to kill the camp.

It's a very tight block, are you doing it with a veteran or a major general ?

Anyhow, take out 2R and replace them with 1M and 1S, this will make max time drop by 10 seconds, in 99% of the cases vs a small risk of loosing 1M and 1S instead of said 2R.

Note: If you're doing it with a Major General, take out 2 cannons instead and replace those with 1M, 1S.

That's a good value for making a tight block, slightly less tight.

Thanx for your replies. Indeed it's tight, but by moving it one flag back as Effellump suggested the problem was solved
