I've finally defeated the last bandit leader on the home world. I was expecting some sort of reaction - at the least another quest, even a flood of them - but nothing other than the usual reward. What happens now? Most of the remaining quests are locked or I don't fancy attempting them. What do I do next? Have I got to have a 'friend' to make progress?
Doesn't hurt to have friends, but switch your attention to doing adventures, build your economy up. decorate your island. You can continue solo but you'll soon get bored I suspect. Plenty of people chat in g1 from time to time perhaps research the sandycove section of the forum and find a guild that suits you. If you do speak in g1 you will get lots of uninvited friend requests and random guild invites, probably best to ignore them. and get a feel for who you want to be friends with.
I'm probably being a bit thick but what is g1 & how do I identify a guild which suits me? I've seen a lot of friend requests in the forum but I've always been a solitary & non-on line gamer so this is new & a bit frightening to me.

Just read the first posts in those thread to see if you feel a bond with any of them, if so ask them if you can join them by posting a message in that thread
