why?
If at first you don't succeed, sky-diving is not for you.
A stop all of one kind of building would be useful, its annoying having to turn all my gold smelters off when the buffs run out.
Also great if going away for a few days and don't want things to run unbuffed... talk about a lot of field/well planting when coming back
