My life is so full of bustle
And rush and quick and right now!
So when i need to sit back and de-hustle
Settlonia's the where and the how

For its pace is soothing and gentle
(Apart from chat which at times can be mental)

Now what dragged me here was my heart
When i first clicked the link to the game
For i had played settlers right from the start
Back when amigas were hotter than flames

Once here i soon picked up the ropes
Ratios, production chains, supply times and trade
And started training Armies to further my hopes
For plunder and adventure is where fortunes are made

Although my fortune so far is quite small
(I seem to keep spending it all)!

Now as my war machine went up through gears
Replacing wells and fields soon picked up pace.
Not enough brew and bread became my worst fears
Replacing losses as they fell was now a big race.

Silos and watermills became my main goal
to help lighten the rebuilding load.
Alas i had no gempit (it looks like a bloomin big hole)
So would have to take a less trodden road.

Many great events were the source
Of these buildings so useful and fine
A crazy mad rush before the events ran their course
To turn the varied resources water into wine

Recently i started dreaming of escaped roaming Rabbids
(A most disturbing and unnerving mad nasty habit)!

Now my island ticked over with minimal fuss
I found I had more time to adjust and to tinker
Enjoying the game more and had less need to cuss
Balancing production chains appealed to this thinker

And lets not forget the real reason most of us stay
Those friends who offer us helping hands and advice
Having fun in the chats with others who play
For we have a great community that is diverse and (mostly) nice

Now my TSO journey is nearly ending, the last few levels to do
I'll finally get to use cannons to help sway the fight
But to delay the inevitable i may meander through
And make those last few hurdles last as long as i think right

So I'd like to say thanks to all you fine folks
Players, devs and BB alike, for making this game such a pleasure
For sharing the fun the laughs and the jokes
And improving my slow paced, chilled out, restful laid back leisure

A quick word about the many game "Features"
(When i retire i might just become a bug keeper)
