As stated in chat (since it was the fastest way to communicate with all of you), the event was indeed deactivated for now. I will keep you updated as soon as we have more details. (Something will be posted on the main page once everything is fine.)

We are currently working on getting everything activated as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update Ravel, only question I have for the devs is what do those of us do who already started the first adventure, do we cancel it for the event restart or do we leave it open and hope all is well.

Guys, I know you have questions and we will focus on answering them as soon as we get everything working again. Our dev team's priority is fixing everything right now in order to allow you to enjoy the event.

Hint to everyone who started the football event adventure the moment they got it: DON'T!

Ignoring the bugs, you still won't be able to finish it for a day or two. You'll need to gather some collectibles first. Start it straight away and you'll have an adventure you can't finish and won't be able to start any other adventures.
