Seriously BB, the lack of info coming from you guys is a disgrace! We all understand that sometimes things don't always work as supposed to but to keep us all in the dark like this is just not on! An update would be greatly received right about now BB...

Earlier today a trial activation of the World Championship Event took place in game.
After the initial tests, we've discovered some issues that we are currently trying to correct.

Our technical team is on it and we will keep you updated.

You updated frequently untill half past 5, then stop all together - It appears to me that you had some desire to bring the even to people, and then eventually just got tired of the entire situation and left the office, instead of trying to do as you promised repeatedly - I think when you do such repeated advertisement, you own it to yourself and us to get it fixed quickly rather than giving up , as it appears that your reputation regarding bugs is not the best - at least try hard to fix them

UPDATE - 9.30 BST: Our technical team has been working on a solution and, should internal tests prove successful, a maintenance will take place today. Please note that although this is the current plan, it might change and the maintenance could be cancelled for today or postponed.
