    Gerontius' Kamikaze Guide

UPDATE: In view of the developments to the combat system, I am no longer working on these guides. Work may continue if, as I hope, the changes fix the obvious existing problems with combat rather than introduce even more, and worse problems.

Some people like rushing adventures, completing several a day.

I like to take my time and the MMA general is perfect for that. Send in a suicide wave with 1R or 1B, come back 2 hours later, rinse and repeat. Victory by attrition.

If you have a similarly minded friend, it is even feasible to tackle some of the Fairy Tale adventures like this!

Most existing guides are intended for fast completion and don't take full advantage of the MMA's suicidal tendencies.

I'm going to use this thread to put together some guides for those who want to spend a week or a few days completing an adventure!

Are you a casual or part-time player? Don't want a chatty guild or expect lots of support?
And do you want the chance to earn a few guild coins but don't want to be forced to do guild quests on a daily basis?

Overview: Blitz through the first three sectors, then spend a few days sending kamikaze attacks against the final few camps.

    Using best/suggested options
    Troops required: 45R, 58M, 1S, 150E, 200C, 250XB
    Total Losses: 45R, 58M, small chance of losing 1S and/or 1E
Generals required: MMA, Veteran, no blocks
Kamikaze attacks required: 36 - total 72 hours recovery time over 8 day adventure

    Camp 1: 100 Karl, 50 Valkyrie
    MMA, 10C, 210XB, no losses
    or
    Vet, 100C, 150XB, no losses

    Camp T1: 150 Wolves
    Wave 1: Any general, 8R, 150E, lose 8R
(kamikaze waves only save ~3R each)

    Camp 2: 50 Housecarl, 100 Thrall
    Wave 1: MMA, 12R, 1E, 207XB, lose 12R
(kamikaze waves only save ~5R each)
    or
    Wave 1: Vet, 1E, 249XB, no losses

    Camp 3: 50 Housecarl, 50 Thrall, 25 Valkyrie
Wave 1: MMA, 10C, 210XB, no losses - can send this attack directly at camp 4 for no losses on both camps
    or
    Wave 1: Vet, 50C, 200XB, no losses

    Camp 4: 75 Housecarl, 50 Valkyrie, 5 Berserk
    Wave 1: MMA, 10C, 210XB, no losses

    Camp 5: 50 Housecarl, 75 Karl
    Wave 1: MMA, 1E, 219XB, no losses
    or
    Wave 1: Vet, 1E, 249XB, no losses

    Camp 6: 50 Housecarl, 50 Valkyrie, 50 Karl
    Wave 1: MMA, 1E, 6C, 213XB, no losses

    Camp 7: 100 Housecarl, 50 Valkyrie, 10 Jomviking
    Wave 1: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 2: Vet, 1E, 6C (if 5 Valkyrie left), 243XB (or 249XB), no losses
    or
Wave 2: MMA, 220XB, no losses

    Camp 8: 75 Valkyrie
Wave 1: Any gen, 200C, no losses

    Camp 9: 20 Jomviking, 50 Housecarl, 50 Valkyrie, 15 Berserk
    Wave 1: MMA, 1E, 10C, 209XB, no losses

It is possible to attack the unmarked camp under camp 10 with an MMA and 220XB for no losses. This isn't necessary but reduces the opportunities for silly mistakes.

    Camp 10: 75 Housecarl, 50 Karl
Lots of options here, but I prefer
    Wave 1: Vet, 1R, 1S, 1E, 247XB, 1% lose 1R, <0.1% lose 1S

From here on, multiple kamikaze waves are a serious option. There is plenty of time to complete this adventure, but you might consider getting a friend to help out. I have provided multiple options for some camps and my suggested option is in Bold/Green

    Camp 11: 120 Housecarl
    Option 1, in one wave
    Wave 1: Vet, 11M, 1E, 238XB, lose 4-11M

Option 2, send 6 kamikaze waves to kill 18 Housecarl (102 Housecarl remaining)
    Waves 1 to 6: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 7: Vet, 1E, 249XB, <0.1% lose 1E

    Camp 12: 20 Jomviking, 100 Housecarl, 50 Karl, 15 Berserk
    Option 1, in one wave
    Wave 1: Vet, 47M, 1E, 202XB, lose 41-47M

Option 2, kamikaze until all Karls are dead
Each kamikaze will kill 5 or 6 Karl
Therefore need 9 or 10 kamikaze waves
    Waves 1 to 9/10: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 10/11: Vet, 20M, 1E, 229XB, lose 13-20M, <0.1% lose 1E

Option 3, kamikaze until all Karl and Beserk are dead
Each Kamikaze will kill 5 Beserk
Therefore need an extra 3 kamikaze waves compared to option 2
    Waves 1 to 12/13: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 13/14: Vet, 10M, 1E, 229XB, lose 5-10M, <0.1% lose 1E

Option 4, kamikaze until all Karl, Beserk and Jomviking are dead
Each kamikaze will kill 3 Jomviking
Therefore need an extra 7 kamikaze waves compared to option 3
    Waves 1 to 19/20: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 20/21: Vet, 1E, 249XB, no losses

Camp 13a (to the right of camp 13): 150 Karl
Wave 1: Vet, 250XB, no losses

    Camp 13b (below camp 13): 150 Housecarl
This camp can take a lot of kamikaze attacks, each killing only 3 Housecarl. I will break it down into groups of 5 attacks

    Option 1, one wave
    Wave 1: Vet, 27M, 1E, 222XB, lose 21-27M

Option 2, 5 kamikaze attacks, leaving 135 Housecarl
    Waves 1 to 5: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 6: Vet, 19M, 1E, 230XB, lose 13-19M

Option 3, 10 kamikaze attacks, leaving 120 Housecarl
    Waves 1 to 10: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 11: Vet, 11M, 1E, 238XB, lose 4-11M

Option 4, 15 kamikaze attacks, leaving 105 Housecarl
    Waves 1 to 15: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 16: Vet, 3M, 1E, 246XB, lose 0-3M

Option 5, 16 kamikaze attacks, leaving 102 Housecarl
    Waves 1 to 16: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 17: Vet, 1S, 1E, 248XB, ~1% lose 1S

    Camp 13: 50 Jomviking, 120 Housecarl, 30 Beserk
(Several options, my suggested option in bold)
    Option 1, one wave
    Wave 1: Vet, 40M, 24S, 1E, 185XB, lose 40M, 7-24S

Option 2, 6 kamikaze attacks to kill all Beserk (each wave kills 5 Beserk)
    Waves 1 to 6: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 6: Vet, 39M, 1E, 210XB, lose 32-39M

Option 3, 5 additional kamikaze attacks to kill 15 Jomviking (35 Jomviking, 120 Housecarl remaining)
    Waves 1 to 11: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 12: Vet, 29M, 1E, 220XB, lose 24-29M, <0.1% lose 1E

Option 4, 5 additional kamikaze attacks to kill another 15 Jomviking (20 Jomviking, 120 Housecarl remaining)
    Waves 1 to 16: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 17: Vet, 21M, 1E, 228XB, lose 15-21M, <0.1% lose 1E

Option 5, 5 additional kamikaze attacks to kill another 15 Jomviking (5 Jomviking, 120 Housecarl remaining)
    Waves 1 to 21: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 22: Vet, 13M, 1E, 236XB, lose 7-13M

etc, until you get bored or run out of time.

Option 6, use enough kamikaze waves to kill all Jomviking and 19 Housecarl (101 Housecarl remaining)
    Wave 1 to 29: (Kamikaze!) MMA, 1R, lose 1R
    Wave 30: Vet, 1E, 249XB, no losses

Overview: No kamikze attacks, just directly attacking leaders and getting intercepted by other camps along the way. Larger losses in return for an easier/quicker adventure.

    Three options are provided:
    (a) sacrificing Recruits - total losses ~279-398R, 9E
    (b) sacrificing Milita - total losses ~170-277M
    (c) sacrificing soldiers - total losses ~121-174S

    First sector
    Camp 1: 100 Deckscrubber, 50 Gunman
    Camp 2: 50 Caltrop, 100 Deckscrubber
    Leader: 50 Caltrop, 100 Sabrerattler, 50 Gunman

The three camps can be attacked individually, but the total losses are the same if a single attack is sent directly at the leader. If the camps are attacked individually, you may choose to use different troop types on different camps to reduce total losses.

    (a) MMA with 220R
    Camp 1 losses: 21-26R
    Camp 2 losses: 26-40R
    Leader losses: 36-50R

    (b) MMA with 220M
    Camp 1 losses: 15-18M
    Camp 2 losses: 17-25M
    Leader losses: 25-32M

    (c) MMA with 220S
    Camp 1 losses: 10-12S
    Camp 2 losses: 11-16S
    Leader losses: 16-22S

Total losses in first sector: 83-116R or 57-75M or 37-50S

    Second sector
    Camp 1: 60 Caltrop, 60 Deckscrubber, 50 Knifethrower
    Camp 2: 40 Caltrop, 40 Sabrerattler, 40 Gunman
Leader: 80 Caltrop, 80 Sabrerattler, 2 Petty Officer

The three camps can be attacked individually, but the total losses are the same if a single attack is sent directly at the leader.

    (a) MMA with 220R
    Camp 1 losses: 23-38R
    Camp 2 losses: 14-25R
    Leader losses: 35-49R

    (b) MMA with 220M
    Camp 1 losses: 16-26M
    Camp 2 losses: 9-17M
    Leader losses: 22-34M

    (c) MMA with 220S
    Camp 1 losses: 10-17S
    Camp 2 losses: 6-10S
    Leader losses: 15-22S

Total losses in second sector: 72-112R or 47-77M or 31-49S

    Third sector
Camp 1 (forest trap): 100 Caltrop
    Camp 2: 30 Caltrop, 100 Deckscrubber, 40 Gunman
    Camp 3: 100 Caltrop, 70 Sabrerattler,
Leader: 100 Sabrerattler, 1 Crazy Cook, 70 Gunman, 10 Petty Officer

For this sector, the attack should be sent straight at the leader and all kills made in a single attack. This allows the camp with 90 Caltrop and 90 Sabrerattler to be bypassed.

The attack with R and M includes Elite soldiers as they provide a small chance of reducing the number of combat rounds when fighting the leader camp, reducing total losses.

There is a small chance of losing up to 9E in the R attack against the leader. In that case, the fight against the leader would probably have been lost if just 220R had been used. Losing the fight against the leader camp would mean attacking the previously bypassed camp in that sector before attacking the leader again. The risk of losing 9E in the attacks is outweighed by the risk of having to second a 2nd wave of attacks, so the backup Elites are a good idea.

    (a) MMA with 170R, 50E
    Camp 1 losses: 8-24R
    Camp 2 losses: 25-35R
    Camp 3 losses: 32-49R
Leader losses: 59-76R, very small chance of losing up to 9E

    (b) MMA with 130M, 90E
    Camp 1 losses: 6-16M
    Camp 2 losses: 17-24M
    Camp 3 losses: 21-34M
    Leader losses: 22-51M

    (c) MMA with 220S
    Camp 1 losses: 3-9S
    Camp 2 losses: 12-15S
    Camp 3 losses: 14-20S
    Leader losses: 25-31S

Total losses in third sector: 124-170R, 9E or 66-125M or 53-75S
