There is no official feedback thread for this and to be fair most feedback is likely better placed on the Test Server forum at http://www.tsotesting.com/ but since the current info is already affecting decisions here (and Trade) here's an update on one bit of the whole:

Things in Sneak Peeks and on the test server can always change before going live and the Adventures listed in this Peek as dropping Pumpkins in loot are last year's, the list has been heavily and still tentatively, revised. See this post for an explanation.

Last year's list of Roaring Bull, Motherly Love, Wild Mary, Gunpowder, Surprise Attack, and Bandit Nest has become, for the time being at least:

• Mini adventures: Sleepy reef, The sleeping volcano, Pirate life

So I could buy Invasion of the Nords for 1500 gems because there is a small chance it will drop pumpkins? or I could just buy the pumpkins

It is an extremely gem-heavy list, particularly when it is only a chance of event resources in loot, and while Co-ops are fine if you can reliably fill them (and when they don't land you strange places) it's an awfully limited selection. Especially for lower level players.

Fingers very much crossed it gets another makeover before the day.

I want to know to make my plans from now.

I suggest that you plant some pumpkin seeds now otherwise they will never grow in time.

Now I cant plant nothing since the pumpkin fields are not available yet........Just wanted to know how many weeks we have to the beggining of the event since I want to use 7 day premium but I want to know if there will be enough time to make another 800 gems in time for the event

I was talking about R/L!

Last year's event started on 17th October 2013. With no other information the "best guess" would be for each yearly event to start approximately one year after the last, i.e. in about 50 days time this year, which is approximately 7 weeks. During that time you will amass 700 gems by logging in every day, so you will nearly be there. A gem pit can make over 100 gems a day (so I'm led to believe) so each one should give you around 5000 gems by the time the event starts.

Of course if the Witch of the Swamp steals your gems you'll have none

the members of my guild do not do coop adv we have a member (smellone )whom i was on a coop adventure with the adventure had a bug and sent me to his landing zone we canceled the adventure after being told to by support sense that time he has not been able to accept adventure invitations from any one and support has not fixed the problem yet over 3 months so we do not do coop for fear of winding up in the same boat

According the sneak peek these adventures will give pumpkins:
Pumpkins spawn on the island can be obtained through the following adventures as reward:
Roaring Bull, Mother love, Mad Mary, Gunpowder, Surprise Attack, Bandit nest

But on the testserver is a message, that says these are the adventures that will give pumpkins:
