game not loading after clicking 'play now' on main page

been 20 min still cant get on to my island anyone have a clue what is going on? followed the list of things to do if this happens nothing has worked

same here,game frozen approx 9 pm GMT,cannot play

I can log on, click play now, game loads, but then stalled when loading the map. I t has been two hours already and still not time for maintenance.
