    strange occurance on Bandits Nest....

    i started a bandits nest adventure....
    on 1st battle i used mma+40r 1e 179cav.....battle report shows i lost recruits...
    on 2nd battle i used mm+83r 1e 149cannons...now here's where is starts to get strange....the battle report showed i set in 70r 1e and 149cannons..
    when setting up for my 3 battle i noticed my cav where missing....searched all my gens but nothing except the mma had 2cav assigned....
    i was wondering what had happened to my cav???
    i asked in help channel and was advised to refresh..which i did no effect cav still missing and battle report showed same....
    so i exit and run cache cleaner....
    when i relog i looked for my cav they still missing now here comes the more strange stuff the original 2nd battle report disappears and is replaced by a new battle report saying i sent in 5r 1e 179cav ???....
    now what i want to know is if this report is correct where did the battle report showing 70r 1e and 149cannons come from and where did it go after clearing the chache ????.
    is this a known bug or have i just been robbed of my cav?....
    if we cant trust the battle reports in the game whats the point of having them ???

    probably your change of troops got rolled back to previous one thats why i always check troops after gen leaves. but changing battle reports is deeper than anything ive encountered..
    Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.

    The first strange occurrence is easily explained: 83r 1e 149k is 233 troops, the mma can only hold 220 so the game only allowed you to assign 70r

    The rest is a bit more problematic - were you using 2 mma or 1?

    If you were using 2, then my best guess is this: you sent your first attack to the second camp by mistake. The first camp (intended target) intercepted, the attack succeeded and you lost 35r (about average loss with that setup). THEN your mma continued on to the second camp with just 5r 1e and 179c where all but a handful of cavalry were killed (again the combat sim confirms that). Meanwhile you send the 2nd mma to the 2nd camp, but it returned without fighting once the first mma killed the 2nd's target. You would get 2 battle reports from the first general.

    Of course if you only used 1 mma then you could still have sent it to the wrong camp, lost the cavalry and got 2 battle reports, but there would have been no camp for the attack loaded with cannons - which is odd.

    As to the 'phantom' report with the cannons I have no ideas - sorry.
    do you still have the other battle reports?

    the MMA will abduct troops if there is not the sufficient landing space when he comes to land, thee troops will be locked out will the end of the adventure. They will return home at the end as troops that are unassigned.

    All that said I have not heard of this MMA bug before.

    busy maps and/or polluted connections can do that

    loosing sync between your client and server may lead to confusing results; anything that seems 'strange' will be ditched and the server will decide some results (quickly) on your behalf - this is a good thing, game was very bad when the server had to decide fair results for ALL players with something that seemed strange

    on game side the following are aggravating factors: all popular or big map adventures, missed maintenance, deployment of new version on test especially with big skew in game properties etc etc
    on connection side anything that pollutes - from skype in the background to your ISP ditching connection to give you new ip number, from devices trying to poll your modem to streaming etc etc etc

    sftr used to have the record and still does, sotv was flagship a while back when players were in a rush to get to lev 50; se is the absolute worst, rbn played intercepts after I finished first 2 camps... IE is the worst option from this point of view, it can go on 7+minutes without noticing the absence of sync. traitors a couple of times and VLT now and then.
    the trademark is the swirly on the generals at assigning troops; 99% of the times you can close its window and it will take the troops exactly albeit its still awaiting confirmation... for the rest you can have a rollback even on generals supposedly moved or their troops; if you send them to fight then you get what you saw - it considers you sent 5r 1e 179c
