The new Battle System & PvP

Another new game version will be deployed on the test server after the load tests:
The new Battle System & PvP! A Sneak Peek providing brief information will be published later this week.
The detailed developer's diary will be announced as soon as the feature development has been finished.

Is that the new battle system that was tested on the test server? The one that will make it virtually impossible for new players to clear the home island of bandit camps? The one that only almost everyone of us hated? The one that will kill this game for good? Well, good luck to you then. I will not be here to support you financially if that horror goes live.

Now what we gonna build on that land ? seeing as the new combat system will allow us to adventure once every 2 days what is the point on making more stuff when it can't be used because of the Iron Ore situation ?

So take something broken and immensely unpopular (new combat system). Put it on test for a while to get a few results. Then dazzle them with PvP and much-wanted extra space on island (that will probably get recalled just like removable mountains) a week later to make them forget about the awful new combat system.

Yup that's what they do.

Do we know if the new mountains on the expandable islands contain minerals? As in Copper, Gold etc

The island to the far right has an iron and a marble deposit. The others have no minerals at all. The islands to the left and right has pinewood and all three has hardwood. There is no meat nor fish on the new islands. So one new iron, marble and some more wood is all you get. The island to the far right is the far superior one since it contains all of the resources and is the largest. They all cost the same, 199 gems to unlock. The one in the middle seems to be by far the worst. It is tiny and only has one resource.

yay pvp great news been waiting years hehe optional great stuff ppl cant really moan about it but im sure they will find a way lol, more space nice! new buildings etc settlers is moving forward at least and they are spending our money on the game for once!, i see they are planning on fixing some of the bugs that get on ppls nerves about time 2, only downside is new combat system should just be for pvp not adventures as it will upset alot of ppl, just hope they get on with it and implement it all this time. well done BB (dont take another 2-3yrs)

The iron deposit on the island to the left is bugged for me. I can't build anything on it.
