As title says.
Level 50 here, have some gems lying around and thinking my next best investement.
My island is tottaly full, and an epic work yard could maybe save some space (??) from forresters & saw mills & cokers? Just asking?
Would you buy a second one with gems?
Do epic forresters-option work as intented? How many forresters it replaces? What range? (because the workyard would be away from the cutters).

To be honest.. only if u wanne over produce stuff and flood the market with it maybe.. but otherwise 1 will be fine i guess..
The pinewood u dont use that much.. so you will be fine with a minor production.
The hardwood you need more because of the mine building.
But when you look in my sector 5 (if i may say so) you'll see a nice setup with will actually do fine for everything.
I bought mine by accident (stupid but irreversible..) and it is overproducing since then.. it mainly plants trees.

every high level player i see has 2. probably mainly for coal ??
Deorum I think one is fine. Mine basically has 1 slot planting pine and the other 2 slots making coal. It seldom gets buffed and yet I make enough trees to keep my cutters busy for 99% of the time (due to the cutters all using the same tree bug). I also make plenty of coal for now and can easily keep an active gold line occupied.
If I had another it would be there just to overproduce and sell as I only have 2 hardwood cutters I don't see what added value I would get from another one.
That being said I don't consider myself to be a high end player that over produces to trade and make profit - I prefer the self balancing aspect of my island :-)
Me too, i prefer being autonomus.
but if it could save me 10 forresters + some coal buildings that would be welcomed.

because i would need 5000 gems plus a major building re-allocation
i only recently bought both after toying with the idea for months and i am glad i did i am thinking of the future and my island is heavily geared towards making weapons so i use a lot of coal ..i like the idea i can make coal from pine and hardwood logs
I bought it just to be able to get more coal.
Just had to since i´ve gone heavy in to GC.
I find 1 Epic is plenty still and thats with 5 Level 5 Smelters and 9 Level 5 Coinage as well as plenty of other coal based production buildings......
