    Gens sent between addies return home instead of correct destination when loot claimed

    I was doing an Island of the Pirates adventure. Then a guild mate invited me to a tomb raider, so to speed things up I sent my Major general and MMAs from pirates to TR - or so I thought.

    When I clicked return home at the end of pirates, one MMA was en route to TR, that one's garrison had completely broken down at the time I clicked. The other MMA and MG however were still breaking down their garrisons. When I went to TR to check, they were not on their way anymore. A quick return home confirmed they were indeed destined for a 30min round trip to TO via my home island.

    I don't send generals between adventures very often. Is this normal behaviour or is it a new bug?

    Yes, this is normal behaviour. When you click to finish an adventure, all generals still listed in star menu will be sent home.

    Even when they are greyed out because they have started travelling to another zone?. If this is 'normal' is is certainly not as it should be

    Why shouldn't they travel home then if they're just travelling to another zone?
    As long as generals are still deconstructing their garrison, they are greyed out listed. As soon as they have started to travel to another island, they are gone from star menu.

    Errrm, becuase they've been instructed not to go home, but to go to a different adventure maybe?

    But technically and from military point of view packing up for travel to execute an order is not an excuse for not receiving new orders to go to a different location. After all the general is still on the island.

    Clearly we disagree.

    If I send a geo out to look for a gold deposit and then realise it's a waste of 2hrs he's greyed out. I got no option to change his orders.
    If I send a general to a different zone, he's also greyed out and I have no option to change his orders - except this one quirky circumstance
    It used to lock zones if you selected a general that was preparing to travel and gave him new orders - now it seems the game gives them new orders for you.

    Other than poor game design I see no reason why completing the adventure should change instructions already given, when in every other circumstance once you've given an instruction you are committed to seeing it through.

    It seems I'm in a minority so I'll drop it.

    Not exactly true. I agree with you, but I was just trying to give a reasonable explanation of this poor-programming "feature" of the game.

    Also I felt the issue was not described correctly and referring "another zone" to be "another adventure" is a bit confusing - "another zone" could be a "another sector".

    If BB would "fix this issue", then fine for me.
    Thou it's not a broken thing you can't workaround - I'd rather have it like this than getting more rollback- and/or lag-issues (or even worse, zone locks).
