Thread: How to solve this problem?

    How to solve this problem?

I was playing Settlers online -in too much of a hurry and got myself in a real mess. So I have started again, right from scratch.

Now I'm in a more complicated mess!

I am level 4. I placed my Pinewood cutter, sawmill and foresters. I was called away from my computer. While away, my poor little workers filled my store! When I got back, i opened my "gift" email. There were 20 Pinewood planks and 50 Pinewood planks. And the quest was to add them to my store. But my store is FULL! So I cannot proceed. There seem to be no other quests I can do....

Another quest says add Stones to Mayor's House - but I only got Pinewood in my gift letter!

I have made two friends who say I might be able to send them some Pinewood planks - but only after 24 hours - i CAN wait - but you will see that I have a problem with patience!

Any other solutions for an idiot who did things in the wrong order?

Demolish your tavern and rebuild it this will consume 100 pinewood planks, allowing you to add them to your store.

The letter you received should have contained 80 stones as well. Please double check your star menu if they are really missing, and if they are missing, you will need to contact Support via the contact form on this page

    @Fexno,

I have demolished my pinewood cutters so the sawmill has to use the logs - mmm - well maybe?

@Fexno - yup - might work, my Pinewood logs have gone down by ONE! So I will be patient. I have 215 stones - maybe I added them? But I am not sure. I see I added the planks - its the logs that are the problem.

This is my "new start!" Ha - a mess. you must be as confused as I am!

If you wanted to stop the plank production you could have put your cutters to sleep instead of demolishing them. I'm trying to contact you by whisper in game to see if I can help you any further

Good idea - never thought of that! I'm still not progressing too well - NOTHING much is happening - but did get an email this morning. And thanks for the add.

Yes - remember I got to level 20 something before - but there is definitely a bug in my game I am still in the same place I was two days ago! i am disappointed because I have friends! And I like my avatar and name. I have contacted technical and am still looking at the same thing - no progress, no new quests, no achieved quests, no daily reward - nothing! Thanks for all the reads and advice.

Yes, pausing the cutter(s) is preferable, what else can you build that will use up planks? So long as you aren't cutting down trees, the logs will go down.
Guess it's too early for the game to let you build a coking plant, but it should allow you to build another storehouse, that will give you room.
Also, try to keep track of the specific item that the mail gave you, sometimes the game is really fussy, and will only credit the quest if you use that particular one, so usually that will be either 1st or last in the star menu, and read the description of it carefully for a hint as to where it came from.
    We love our new CM.

Also, rather concerning that your quest log is empty, check you haven't closed up the quest trees with the arrows, they may just be hidden.
