Thank you BB for a really good Christmas event

Hi, it is not often BB get any praise for anything, but you deserve it for the Christmas Event.

I have really enjoyed it and got everything I wanted from the merchant with a few presents to spare, so a big thank you from me for all my freebies

Disappointing rewards, I felt. A slightly higher population from the Frozen Manor and an iron mine you have to pay to refill or it's a 12 hour flash in the pan.

I found it easy to get presents, more so than in previous events, but then hit the maximum number of Deerstalkers and Recycling Doodahs quite early. I bought lots of grout I'll never use.

Good to get the rarity provision house, I guess. The 24 hr Aunt Irma and the Employee of the month buffs are nice and help a bit. Most of the rest are an ill-thought through bunch of nonsense (you need FIVE bronze cauldrons to make one buff to get 20% time of the bookbinders for 12 hours! Wow, I'm really going to make that EVERY day!) that will hardly help a soul, surely (I guess the PvP buffs are okay bit I don't really have intention of doing it.).

    Underwhelmed.

(Oh, and the buffing "adventures" were the same 3, twice each! That was poor I thought. Unless it was a bug. In which case it's still poor)

I can't moan about the Xmas event; after all, it was a gift and a pleasant diversion.

Thank you also from me BB

I agree, x-mad event was very good as usual, although pressies might have been a bit too abundant (not complaining)

Every day use... no.. not really worth it... using it to make sure a book finishes in plenty of time to start a new one before maintenance/bedtime/whatever.... WIN!

But yes, on the whole, I need to agree with the OP. Christmas is a time to spend with friends and family, not glued to a computer game. So, I must give credit where it is due, for a well constructed event that allowed everyone to fully participate by just logging in regularly... if only for a little while.

Still disappointed by the lack of FM's in the boxes, apart from that a well balanced event.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

Oh yeah, I forgot, a bit disapointed about not being able to buy RttBN for pressies, but still as usual x-mad event is the best

Yes, wasn't too happy to be asked to do 5 Epic advs, but luckily explorers more than covered me not doing them.
    We love our new CM.

    Newfoundland: 20th November 2011 to 25th November 2014. RIP
It was good while it lasted.
