Could you do something to the lag that is sending wrong troops to fight (By not registering the troop change)??
Lag has been around for some time now and it is pretty frustrating.
Also the notifications which appear on the screen when you find a collectible or put a buff on something are staying on the screen way too long.
Please reduce the appearing time to 1-2sec.

Fix the buffs and close the event, I would ask if after the fix the adventures will still drop presents, but knowing as I do that xmas adventures don't drop presents outside of the event period this reduces the adventures to one which rewards minimal xp and nothing else. Congratulations you have literally locked the stable door after the horse has bolted.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
I see no reason why the adventures shouldn't still reward presents. The reward comes as a mail, it is not a quest based reward as in some other events.
But we'll find out on the 15th...
Are you a casual or part-time player? Don't want a chatty guild or expect lots of support?
And do you want the chance to earn a few guild coins but don't want to be forced to do guild quests on a daily basis?

Something similar happened last year, I believe, or during some other event in the past year. Frustrating that nobody had the foresight or memory to avoid it happening again.
Summary: If you're going to give out an adventure at the very END of an event, you need to ensure that someone should be able to finish unless they have acted unreasonably. For example, this 12 day adventure was given out only 2 days before the end of the event. It was not unreasonable to assume that it could be finished over the following week.

just keep it in star till x mas this year and hope the buffs are the same. I would rather hope the general dropping troops was fixed more so since the loot changes or is support going to bother replying to the mails that players have sent or is the head stuck in the sand again. I suppose that players will get compensation for the losses when Satan ice skates to work.
UPDATE: We aim to fix the Christmas Buff Adventures issue during the maintenance tomorrow, the 15th of January.
In order to give players more time to finish Christmas Adventures, Removal Phase 2 has been postponed until Friday, the 16th of January.
