Posting a suggestion does not solve your problem. That's where YOU'RE being silly.
And it will not result in any imminent change to the game. To think otherwise is naive.
There is one and only one solution to your problem and I have given it to you already. Not taking that option is just compounding your problem.
So, what you gonna do? Keep shouting into the wind or actual start trying to address your problem in the only way you can?
Are you a casual or part-time player? Don't want a chatty guild or expect lots of support?
And do you want the chance to earn a few guild coins but don't want to be forced to do guild quests on a daily basis?
Then join GQS (Guild Quests (STILL!) Suck) on Northisle!
Mail Gerontius here or in game for an invite.

And yes i will keep posting suggestions in the forums, where the mods tells us to post them. If no one posts a suggestion they will never consider it, its that easy. And to end with, i was not shouting anything until you and your depressed face came in here and started arguing. So in the nicest way i can say this, pls go bother someone else.

my Opinion : the idea is not bad but not the best sollution either
the Sollution i would give you Use them not just 1 per 10 mins use them on all buildings even those which dont need bufgs (sleeping/upgrading ones), use them on other ppl's islands they are gone in no time that way
You said you have 546 sand's well most island have atleast 50+ buildings most high level players have atleast 100+ (lvl 42 i think should be possible), so visit some use them make other ppl happy with them
and btw sandwiches last 2 hours on a building...
and Posting a suggestion is good in MY opinion some like them some don't but Posting a suggestion doesnt Say that BB/Dev's will develop it as it is based on their opinions about it and the likes/dislikes it gets on the replys this can be said with a +1 or a -1 or a yes, no or like mostly ppl who give oppinions make the idea better in their way add stuff to it etc...
i posted some sugg's which are developed or in better ways i suggested them, i seen other sugg's that are in game now also... but also posted some which never happened

With us getting settlers from every adventure even prices in bread has dropped cause no one wants or needs it. So a buff giving faster pop isnt really selling at all. but thanks for the input.
The sarnie's are very much unsellable, hell, you can't even get rid off them even if you pay people to take them.
You can buff your mayor's house though even if it doesn't need the buff so you can use them up if you want to. If you wanted to delete them anyway, there's no difference between deleting and using to no effect.
My only suggestion affen (I have the same problem as you) is to offer them sometimes in trade for a fish in busy days. (offer in chat channel, dont put them by yourself in trade, dont worth paying coins to list them).
