Interesting points about how difficult should an event be. I think the gap of top lvl member vs a new member is getting wider and it will continue to do so. Hence more difficult for BB to keep people happy.
My suggestion to BB is make the cost of rewards relative to the lvl, wealth, unused assets and some other variables so that a lvl 30 with 1 explorer gets 1 general easy and 2nd is a pain. And on the other hand a lvl 50 with 10 explorers gets 1 general with ease and 2nd is a pain.
There's a flaw tho , decent lvl 50 can get 10 generals for guilds newcomers with slightest amount of generosity = noone needs to buy general with gems... ( i leave it to BB to figure how to avoid that )
