Nothing is changed with eggs, only bug with sturdy shovel is fixed.

Short Trasure Search: 0-2-4
Medium Trasure Search: 0-4-8
Long Trasure Search: 0-8-16
Very Long Trasure Search: 0-16-32
calculate how many is 9% from this numbers.
before was about 40% more eggs not 9% now is ok

So what you are saying is that they reduced the amount of eggs.
yes, before was 0-23-45 eggs with sturdy shovel 9% on very long, now is 0-17-35 as it should be. because base is 0-16-32
now is 9% more not 40% as before, sturdy shovel gives 9% more loot not 40% more loot

But I was getting the base amount for medium search. Did they manage to create a bug that only affected one skill on one type of search?
that was example for very long.
on long was 0-12-23, now is 0-9-17, base is 0-8-16
i don't use medium and short searches, but if bug fixed for long and very long also is fixed for medium and short.
base for medium is 0-4-8 with 9% must be 0-4-9 (if you have 3% or 6% 0-4-8)
on short sturdy shovel don't have any effect

I did a couple of medium searches last week and they gave me 4 eggs. That's with lucky explorer and sturdy shovel. So that means the bugged sturdy shovel wasn't working there or I would have gotten more eggs. Also, after this "improvement", I'm not entirely sure my 12 explorers will manage to get the 3200 eggs needed.
I like the Dev blog...it has explained their thinking rather well tyvm.
I have to say I like the idea of new event resources for every event
I wish/hope that in future event the explorer searches and adventure loots would always include at least 1 event resource.
The one item wouldn't make a huge difference on the total but would keep the player's spirit higher when after a multiple hours of effort the adventure loot or search would contain at least something. Plus it would show that there are no bugs in loot/search results
i.e.
Short Trasure Search: 1-2-4
Medium Trasure Search: 1-4-8
Long Trasure Search: 1-8-16
Very Long Trasure Search: 1-16-32
or adventure
1, 60, 150
1, 40, 100
1, 33, 83
...
that would make short search too good. and 0 or 1 for a very long is the same to me.
as a lower level player i saved dotty eggs for this years event so i can get a mma general once again an event thats tailored to the higher level player with more storage explorers troops ect why don't you change stripy for dotty eggs instead of coins then lower level players will be happy as well
