Not everyone can or want to do blocks - When doing blocks you take a chance, sometimes it works and you gain a lot, sometimes they fail and you lose expensive troops, for me that is a big part of what makes the game fun. Cant see why this means you must punish those who cant do blocks, but taking settlers off loot.

Did I suggest removing settlers from loot? There is always more than one way to skin a cat. Please link the post where I suggested this as I don't recall it.

Island of the pirates was also calculated without using blocks

Maybe he hooked on your emotionally laden remark about "absolutely inaccurate statement", as I did. Being so full with emotions it appears that the issue of gaining more settlers than the troops lost is very significant to you, and frankly, I don't see another way of skinning that particular cat than reducing the settlers part of the loot.

There are other fixes, for example the central bandit leader camp in outlaws, has 3 boss units within it, 1 arrow clears the entire section, If the amount of units where altered/increased so it wasn't clearable this way then high level players wouldn't be able to one arrow clear it. Forcing them to receive the losses in clearing the sector the old fashioned way, Just like the lower levels have too.

    As for

Did we not just have a massive rebalance in the game? Trying to fix some of the issues around weapons? Well they have created other issues in that so called fix. Issues around bread/settlers/silo's/imp silo's/horse (horse already existed to some degree)

another MMA coming into the game for everyone, would do further damage to the economy.

There are times when a high level player will do a low level adventure, such as when a guild quest requires the low level player to do an adventure and the high level helps them out.

Also may I point out that the troop saving argument against the MMA raised here also apply's to equally to all fast gens. Not many guides out there for the FT adventures using only tavern generals is there. At the end of the day there will always players with more power than others.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

From my understanding the hoarders that the event was aimed at gain nothing (it was to use existing resources, if that counts you out due to none bad luck, you need no rebalancing). If everything decent/already purchased remains locked, why would I want to buy the junk I never bought before? High surplus is result of not enough to buy, so now we also get not enough to buy.. 1gazzilion grout doesn't make event worth playing imo

Even if you personally have all items locked you can at least get buildings that are tradable like in other events (deerstalkers, watermills, imp storages, manors etc etc). A lot of people will tear down theirs and trade them away with better rate for you than in shop if they have a chance to get lucky, mma etc they missed before.
