    Lootspot Etiquette

Stuck on an adventure at the moment because one of the lootspotters has done a disappearing act (again)

Usually when this happens, I will send them a message letting them know that I will finish one hour after sending invite (45 mins after landing) This leaves plenty of time even if they have sent a slow gen.

I think that this is a reasonable amount of time, because if they're not back after 45 mins, then maybe they aren't coming back at all.

Does everyone else think that is reasonable. Opinions appreciated please.

If they accepted the deal with 1 hour to get the kill then it's up to them to fulfil their part of the deal.

This is why I only trade LS with people in the guild or with friends of friends. There are no in game systems to handle trading LS properly.

I never specify beforehand that I will finish 1 hour after invite.

That is very generous, most only give 15-30 mins after landing.

If it's not an event I've waited up to 8 hours but during an event an hour max is about the limit, maybe less if your on premium, it's a good idea to warn the ls in chat during the initial exchange that'll you'll finish 1 hour from now regardless.

This is a really great post:

You really should be clear BEFORE they buy when you plan to finish it.

Anyone that buys a ls should know it's to make kill immediately unless specified otherwise, if you're not planning or don't have the time to make the kill you should not Buy the ls until you can... so for me after 15-30m after landing i finish. I send a warning mail after 15m I'm not going to get stuck because of other people.

    Waitting 8h... that's insane.

How about a new abbreviation for lootspot selling: instead of rtf ( ready to finish ) gtf ( going to finish ) or wtf (wanting to finish) and then add your time. Then buyers will be clear of their obligations if they choose to buy
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned

Ofc it is reasonable! 1h waiting after sending invite is more than enough.

`but always ask if ls is rtf cuz ls can be sold at the start at an adv and you cant complain at BB about it cuz its no scam or so...
just own problem of not reading it good or you think it has to be rtf...
