Dear Settlers fans,
On Friday, the 27th of March 2015, the teams of the German fan projects DSOTalk and Siedler-Vision honoured us with a Studio visit.
nitram4ever handed over some funny presents in the name of the fan site teams.
We finally received some ducks for our bath tubs!.
Besides the rubber duck family, a chocolate Easter bunny was handed over to BB_Pandur (the German Community Manager).
Now he can keep up his awesome cat-like physique.
The "mandatory" tour throughout the Ubisoft / Blue Byte studio was next.
Our Marketing Manager Stefan explains the several stations and departments.
Of course, We also introduced our courtyard ducks:
The group also paid a visit to the Blue Byte sound developer team.
Audio director Stefan talked about sound design and conducted a brief demonstration.
Of course, in the afternoon we focused on "The Settlers Online", after eating a mountain of bread rolls :P.
Our producer Sonja held a presentation and explained the process of developing a feature from scratch.
After the presentation we started a Q&A session of almost two hours.
Many of the topics discussed were brought up through the fan sites by the TSO fans.
Last but not least - the obvious group photo in our TSO office.
We are already looking forward to the next visit!
