    Glue buffs & Maintenance

Glue buffs are a total waste during maintenance.
Book Binder production cannot be stacked leaving buffs to run out during maintenance period once current book production is complete.
The HOURS it takes to make these things is ridiculous enough and glue buff is not easy/cheap to get only to have most of it wasted weekly is sinful.

There has to be a better way.

(OK flamers, light your torches, lets go)

The lack of Short-time Glue Buffs are making it almost impossible for most of players to really make use of a Long-time Glue Buff - a well-timed use of short-time glue buffs makes it possible to end a production when it better suit the player.
Especially a 4h buff would be handy.
We now got "20% shorter production time for 12h"-buff to make in RPH.
25/11-14 , 23/02-16 .. The end is coming and it will look like this .

Here's a radical concept you might like to try. "Forward planning"
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

What would that forward plan involve? Not using a buff? superb solution lets all do that then.
Here's a more radical concept, BB make the production stackable.

We have many features which are timed, why should glue buffs be the exception to the rules governing there usage compared to all the other timed features.

15hrs to produce 1 manuscript reduced to 7.5hrs when halve time buffed, requires player to renew production every 7.5 hrs or lose buff time.
this is not possible during maintenance and is virtually impossible for most players anyway due to real life things like sleep and work etc
buffs run for multiples of 12 hrs no other buffed production has these timing issues and all it takes to sort it is to make production stackable.
Other buffs continue to work during maintenance this one gets mostly wasted if it runs into maintenance time.

Glue buff and the bookbinder is a joke. I really don't like that solution. At least the old provision house behaviour necessary.

Is it just me, or do people think they deserve a bonus all the time? A buff is an extra bonus - not required, not deserved.

Oh - btw - today is maintenance. I would suggest watching the timing on your bookbinder
Sorry, but I've slept since then...

A buff is NOT a bonus.
Buffs are an integral part of the game and have to be earned one way or another.
Try to understand the issue before spouting off with nonsense comments.

Whilst buffs are an integral part of the game and your right they do require some input from the player to get or make them, there action is that of a bonus to production.
The problem with the buffs in question are that they are fixed in time, where as the bookbinder has five levels of production and three different production cycles, there will never be a one buff fits all in this case,
It is clear that BB have made the book making a slow, long term element of the game much as granite is. Any development `mistakes' which are contrary to this ( High RTBN drop rates ) are quickly reversed. As a stackable queue in the bookbinder would fall into this category, I can not see it coming any time soon. The only possibility of them changing that decision would be if they continued with the science trees for other parts of the game as was originally intended, thereby balancing the demand with an increased production facility without reducing the durability of the concept.
    FWIW I think putting:

In your opening post, was probably not the best way to get a constructive reply to your point and may have set the tone how both replies are written and perceived
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned
